What I'm Playing - November 2011
Dungeons of Dreadmor  I never played dungeon crawlers as a kid, and after playing this I’d say that was probably for the best because I don’t think I would have left the house. At it’s heart it’s a solid challenging dungeon crawl with tons of weapons and replay-ability. (I think I just described ALL dungeon crawlers.) But, what I imagine sets this one apart from the rest...

ColourLovers, I love you.
Over the years I’ve spent quite a bit of money on apps with full fledged color managing tools. However, nearly all of them are too disconnected and hard to manage. Being a web developer and overall nerd, I’m constantly switching computers and it’s vital that I can access all of my color palettes without spending a lot of time managing them between devices. ColourLovers is the...

Single CSS Templates
This is a simple prototype I created for WVU Health Sciences Center’s new phase of website templates. We have an incredible amount of sites to manage and it had become such a burden that many of my fellow developers were having a hard time focusing on their development work - which cost us time, money, and motivation. It was clear that we desperately needed more organized control of our...

Excerpt from "The Definition of Piss" debate
clutter: How about this...
clutter: Let's go out to a bar...
clutter: You drink your piss. And I'll drink mine.
clutter: We'll see who ends up drinking urine.
clutter: I think the winner is obvious.
Touchbucket: i don't even know what your saying and i wont respond to it.

Tonight, I started writing my story that I’ve been planning for a couple of years now. While I was at it, I decided that I would start writing out my New Year’s resolutions. It’s about time that I start making some promises to myself.

Java, Android & Google's App Inventor
After a weekend review of the Android documentation, I’m still quite lost in it. Setting aside time to study Java and become more familiar with it will definitely help. Luckily, it seems like Java may be a lot like C# which I’ve already dipped my feet into. In between studying, I’ve had the chance to play with Google’s App Inventor which is an impressive web application...

Time to Learn: Java
I’ve been reading more and more into Java over the past few months. Minecraft is to blame, for the most part. But, recently, my purchase of an Android phone has peaked my interest. After venturing into the wasteland that is known as the “Android Marketplace”, I’ve witnessed some of the worst looking applications that I’ve ever seen in my life. Not only are the...
