Single CSS Templates
This is a simple prototype I created for WVU Health Sciences Center’s new phase of website templates.
We have an incredible amount of sites to manage and it had become such a burden that many of my fellow developers were having a hard time focusing on their development work - which cost us time, money, and motivation. It was clear that we desperately needed more organized control of our templates so that switching them wouldn’t be such a time consuming process.
The link below displays several different layouts and how a single CSS file can handle each of their variations by targeting reusable elements based on their parent. Each variation can change completely by simply switching a CSS file.
